Enchantment Resort Tennis Camp

When we first got to Sedona we had one day until our tennis camp. I had been really nervous before but had a great time. We played for about six hours every day.

When we got there we usually warmed up hitting and then ran a little and stretched. Then we would go to a court with our group. There were three different groups that you were put into. There were three coaches and you rotated between all the courts. All the coaches worked on different things with you, and at 12:00 we went to lunch.

There was a different lunch each day. That first day we had sandwiches. My favorite lunch was probably the spaghetti with garlic bread and pudding. After lunch we would go out again and warm up again and then keep playing. We played from 9:00 to 4:00.

On our last day we had a pool party with ice cream. It was really fun, and I had a great time at the tennis camp.

Baby Bathtubs

Baby bathtubs was a very fun hike we did in Ouray. It wasn’t much of a hike, but there were little pools of water that Isaac and I played in. They were so much fun.

There was a little waterfall, and the rocks were big and smooth where water ran through.

frisbeeToday in the evening we went to the park with the frisbee. We threw it around a little. And then my dad made up a game which we decided to call frisbee blitz. It was really fun and a great workout.

There were two on each team. The way to get points is if you catch it from your teammate or if you are on the other team then you try to smack it down. We played to ten. We switched out taking breaks, and we played until it was dark.

I really liked smacking it down because I am not too good of a catcher.` I loved running around.

Snowboard Nationals

Snowboarding Nationals was really fun. I made it to Nationals in BorderX, Slopestyle, and Halfpipe.

I had Halfpipe first. I got ninth. but my friend Alyssa on Team Summit got 3rd. She did really well.

After Halfpipe was Slopestyle.  I was planning on hitting the first and second big jumps, but I kind of fell on the first jump. I am not too happy about how I did in Slopestyle and hope to do better next season. I got 17th out of 21.

My last event was BorderX. In time trials I got third, and I made it out of my heat on my first race, but on my second race, I got 3rd, and they only take the top two. So in BorderX I got 6th.

I had a lot of fun at all the competitions with my friends. And my coach Terri was awesome the whole season.

The Night Cafe

This is another painting by Vincent Van Gogh. It is a picture of a room with people eating and drinking.  I think there are 6 people in the room.

There is a pool table in the middle of the room. There are some curtains at the back of the room that probably lead to the bathroom.  And there is a big clock at the back of the room.

One man is standing, and two men look like they are kind of laying their heads on the table.

My First Halfpipe Competition

My first halfpipe competition last weekend was super fun. While we were waiting at the top of the pipe, we did human pyramids, human dominoes, and dog piles with the girls on my team.

For lunch we made a table out of snow and ate on it. Right before my run I got a little nervous, but once I was in the halfpipe, it was just fun. On my first run I tried to just get high and do some grabs. On my second run I tried to get high in the beginning and at the bottom two 360s. Continue reading “My First Halfpipe Competition”

Anna Hall

Anna Hall is my best friend. I have known her since I was born.

She traveled like us in a motor home. She has three brothers who are my brothers best friends.

She is three months older than me and I love playing with her. I love talking and giggling with her. She is so fun to be around. I get so excited when I get to see her. And I really like pretending with her. We both have a doll named sage – they are Corolle dolls. She is an amazing girl, and I am so happy that she is my friend.

Here are some pictures of us from last year when we spent time together in California and Oregon, one from a long time ago, and one from last month when I saw her in Texas.

Talks With Dad

Today my dad talked about being grateful and sending an email or writing a letter immediately. He also talked about giving things to others.

God said if you have two coats, give one of them to somebody who needs it. My dad also said when you give to somebody who is not grateful, it doesn’t make you want to give to them again. So I want to remember to always show that I am grateful when I am given something.

I like being together for meals and am very grateful that we can be together as a family to talk.

The Coca Cola Factory was my favorite attraction in Atlanta. It was awesome. We got to see a 15 minute little movie and got to taste a bunch of different  sodas from Africa, South America, Europe, and Asia.  Some of them were really good but some of them were too carbonated or tasted like cough syrup. Gabe liked this one called Beverly. I didn’t taste it, but Isaac and my mom said it was just terrible.

Then there were a bunch of Coca Cola freestyles and a soda fountain with different kinds of coke. When we left, we got a free Coca Cola, and I got a shirt.

Then we went to the aquarium. It was cool. We sat at a big window and saw lots of fish. There were also some awesome whale sharks. We got to see ocean life, river life, and arctic life. We saw some penguins in arctic life. In river life we saw a crocodile and some river otters.
