We had a fun day hiking this trail together. At the lake we saw some ground squirrels playing. I got to use mom’s binoculars. I drew the lake, the mountains, and the waterfalls. It was chilly. We all ran back down the trail for 2 miles. I got hot running, so I took off my shirt! We skipped rocks at the gorge on the way back. I helped Isaac find the perfect rocks.
