  • St. Mary’s Falls

There is a bridge we walked over. The boys almost jumped off the bridge but decided to jump off a rock into the water instead. Mommy and I might try it next time! It was very cold!

  • Highline

This hike at Glacier National Park was nice because we could see a mountain view the whole time. There was a section where we had to walk right next to the moutainside so we wouldn’t fall down the cliff. It wasn’t as scary as people had made it seem. We only hiked about a mile…

  • Virginia Falls

This was a beautiful waterfall and hike. My dad and brothers jumped into St. Mary’s Falls which was very, very cold and tricky to swim from. My mom and I sketched Virginia Falls. My dad made us tea.

  • Isaac

Isaac and I have been having a lot of fun together on this trip. He makes me laugh. We can be very silly together.

  • Avalanche Lake

We had a fun day hiking this trail together. At the lake we saw some ground squirrels playing. I got to use mom’s binoculars. I drew the lake, the mountains, and the waterfalls. It was chilly. We all ran back down the trail for 2 miles. I got hot running, so I took off my…

  • Huckleberry Ice Cream

Mommy’s friend Brynn told her she should try Huckleberry Ice Cream, so we did. We stopped at a restaurant right at the entrance to Glacier National Park, and they piled on about 8 scoops into a waffle cone. We all LOVED it. We went back every day for more ice cream!

  • Snow in August

We were hiking up to see Hidden Lake in Glacier National Park, and I wanted to touch the snow I saw in the distance. Gabe went with me to touch it. The hike was beautiful. We even saw a mommy mountain goat with her baby and watched them for over a half and hour. I…

  • Mt. Rushmore

Mt Rushmore was so fun . We got to climb a little of it , but then they told us to get down. Then my brother Gabe and I earned a junior ranger badge.

  • Passport Books

My friend, Mama Lou bought us all Passport Books to get stamped at the National Parks. We all love getting the stamps. And I also love completing the questions for the Junior Ranger Badges. My brothers don’t really like to. That’s okay. I’m going to put them all on a bandana when I’m done and…

  • A Yurt

We had no idea what a Yurt was until we stayed in one outside of Glacier National Park. You should look up the history of a Yurt. We loved it! We all slept in this one room yurt, and took turns sleeping on the top bunk. I worked on my puzzle throughout the week. We…
